“I will only add, God bless you.”
Last May 30 and 31, I was given the opportunity to host summer’s coolest competition, Summerskate 2014. The competition was held in two venues: SM Mall of Asia for the first day and SM Megamall for day two. The experience was very humbling. I was able to learn so much about hosting. It may seem easy at first glance, but once you delve deeper into the world of events hosting, there happens to be a lot more going on. Looks can be deceiving! 🙂
Here I am with the competition director, Coach Ian Cruz.
In this photo, I am with Miss Juliet Fantolgo, the operations officer of the SM Mall of Asia Ice Skating Rink.
I am extremely thankful and glad for this wonderful blessing. I know I have a long way to go and so much to learn, and I will do my very best to improve. I owe the SM Ice Skating family a lot! They have given me opportunities to enhance and to practice my hosting skills. Here’s something to look back at and be thankful for when I (hopefully) get into the broadcasting industry. Keeping my fingers crossed!
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”
