“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.”

(William Penn)

Time flies.  Yes, it does.  That is such an overused expression, but it is one with true meaning. Sometimes, one feels as if one was just a few years old the day before.  Once one grows older, there comes the time when stepping out into the real world becomes a necessity.

People never really fully appreciate time until it has finally departed.  It is hard not to take advantage of something that was freely given to one, but when one starts to count the days until the end of human life, time will be something one will implore for.

Yesterday, it felt as if I was just graduating elementary.  Now it is my last year of high school.  I do not know whether time really does fly fast or time played a trick on me and fastforwarded me to the future.  I have done what I could in those fast years.  It would be fun to relive those awesome moments in life if time would allow it.  Sadly, time does have its limits.  We should just be contented with remembering those memories we cherish so much.

“How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before it’s afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?”

(Doctor Seuss)
